Privacy Policy

VOQ is a training and nutrition coach. This policy describes exactly what it stores, where that data goes, and how to get rid of it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What VOQ stores
- Training logs — sessions, movements, sets, reps and loads you tell the coach about.
- Body measurements — weigh-ins and any other metric you choose to track.
- Symptom scores — if you track a symptom, the daily score you give it and whether that day involved painkillers.
- Food entries — calories and protein as you report them.
- Your messages to the coach — stored verbatim, because the coach's job is to remember what you said.
VOQ does not collect your contacts, location, photos, advertising identifiers, or browsing activity. There is no analytics SDK and no third-party tracker in the app.
This website
The paragraph above is about the app, and the distinction is worth making rather than leaving you to find it. This website counts page views, through Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookie, stores no identifier, and cannot follow you anywhere else: what it records is the page, where you arrived from, the country, and how quickly the page painted. None of it identifies you, none of it is joined to an account, and none of it reaches the coach's record of you. There is no equivalent beacon inside the app.
Where your messages go
To answer in context, VOQ sends the text of your coach messages, together with the relevant parts of your training history, to a large language model provider for processing. That provider processes the request and returns a reply. Your data is not used to train their models.
If you would rather this did not happen, VOQ still functions without it: with no model configured, plan adaptations are authored by VOQ's own deterministic rules instead of the coach, and are labelled as such.
Health data
The measurements and symptom scores you enter are health-related information, and are treated as the most sensitive data VOQ holds. They are never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used for any purpose other than showing you your own trends and adapting your plan.
VOQ is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept until you ask for it to be deleted. You can request a full export or complete erasure at any time by emailing the address below; erasure is permanent and takes effect within 30 days.
Children
VOQ is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the app will say so before the change takes effect.
